Description
Kapetaniana traditional complex is located in the southern part of Heraklion. The complex provides quality services for a comfortable and pleasant stay, where vacationers experience a different era of heroic and sacred origins. Guests will stay for days and nights in the beautiful mountain village in the south of Crete, in cozy cottages. They will try walks in the mountains, picnics on the beach, romantic evenings by the fireplace (in cold weather), lulling silence and the beautiful Cretan views, 900 meters above sea level.

The owner and the author of all these charms really wanted to keep its authentic atmosphere. The internal decoration of cottages in the traditional Cretan style - stone walls, wooden floors, fabrics and table covers, fireplace - is organically combined with the demands of modern times such as plasma TV, hi-fi and central heating. One may say that everything has been done here to make the guests come back again.
Each cottage (70-110 m2) can accommodate 2-5 people.
There is a lovely tavern with a large fireplace and impressive windows with panoramic views of the Libyan Sea. The traditional decor creates a unique atmosphere, where guests can enjoy delicious traditional cuisine. Breakfast is prepared with fresh local ingredients (bread, honey, eggs, pancakes, traditional, cheese, yogurt, fresh milk, etc.). Opening hours: from 8:30 to 10:30. Lunch: from 13:30 to 15:30. Dinner: from 20:00 to 22:30.
Traditional sweets and traditional pies are an integral part of the menu. All dishes are prepared from fresh local products.
