Lively tourist village of Nea Flogita is located 45 km from the airport of Thessaloniki and just 6 km from the town of Nea Moudania - the second largest city in Chalkidiki. This is a big tourist village with a developed infrastructure.
Nea Flogita's population: about 1,400 people. In the summer time, the population is up to 20 000 people. Flogita village is connected to an adjacent village of Nea Plagia.
There is a large number of taverns, cafes, bars, nightclubs, markets and souvenir shops in the village. In the center you will find a large market that offers a wide range of local products - fruits, vegetables, olive oil, honey and more.
There is a large playground with bouncy castle for children (ticket cost - 4 euros for a child, for unlimited time). Near Nea Plagia you will find rides for children of all ages.
Wide sandy and pebble beaches and clear sea will delight even the most demanding tourists. Visitors can go to organized beaches with sun beds and umbrellas (offered for free if you buy a drink) or beaches that are not equipped - there is enough space for everyone.
Flogita village is located at the beginning of Chalkidiki, which makes it an ideal starting point for trips.
Flogita is located 3 km from the village of Paralia Dionisiou. It can be reached on foot along the beach (use pedestrian road, or Nea Moudania - Nea Kallikratia road by car).
