The lively tourist village of Nea Flogita is located 45 km from the airport in Thessaloniki and only 6 km from the town of Nea Moudania, the 2nd largest city in Halkidiki. This is a large tourist village with a developed infrastructure. About 1,400 people live in Flogit year-round, but in the summer, the population, including tourists and summer residents, is estimated at up to 20,000 people. The village of Flogita in the waterfront area connects with the neighboring village of Nea Plagia. In the village of Flogita there are a large number of taverns, cafes, bars, nightclubs, shops and souvenir shops. In the center of the village there is a large market that offers a wide range of local products - fruits, vegetables, olive oil, honey and more. Children in Flogit will not be bored either - the village has a large playground with inflatable trampolines (a ticket worth 4 euros is bought only for a child, the time for using the playground is not limited). On the side of Nea Plagia there is an amusement park offering entertainment for children of all ages. Wide sand and pebble beaches and clear sea will please even the most demanding tourists. Beach visitors can be located both on organized beaches equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas (a drink is purchased as payment) and on non-equipped ones - there is enough space for everyone. The village of Flogita is located at the very beginning of Chalkidiki, which makes it a convenient starting point for traveling around Greece. Flogita is located 3 km from Paralia Dionysio village. You can walk to it along the road along the sea (there is a road for pedestrians, but by car you need to go along the Nea Moudania - Nea Kallikratia highway).
